With their innovative roll-top covers, Armadillo have it covered
Since 2001 Armadillo concepts have been supplying their signature ‘roll top’ covers for pickup and 4x4 type vehicles.
Once a new player in the market which was dominated by traditional hardtop covers, Armadillo are now the
market leader. Their latest aluminium, weatherproof tops not only securely cover the load bin of the truck, but can also support an evenly distributed weight of 500Kgs (that’s equivalent to four 17 stone people!)
Traceability and serial numbers
One area that Armadillo struggled with as they grew, was maintaining traceability for all of the products they had supplied. This was vital for the purposes of warranty claims, spares and was also a stipulation of some of their customers. With the STOCK+ serial number tracking module together with the core system Armadillo moved from a manual system based on paper and a spreadsheet, to a full traceable electronic system with easy search and full audit.
The finishing touches
Because STOCK+ also includes a label printing engine, and is responsible for the generation of delivery notes and labels, Armadillo were also able to detail serial numbers supplied on the paperwork supplied to their customers. With STOCK+ their productivity soared, but so did their accuracy.
