Casio IT500 - Rugged Mobile Terminal

Casio is a long standing and respected manufacturer of mobile terminals.

This particular unit is excellent because it offers a small numeric keypad on the base and has option of integral digital camera or barcode scanner.

This is excellent for workers who need to take photos at the scene. Road maintenance, car park attendees. Take photos and use the Bluetooth option to send images back to where they are needed for close and quick inspection.

Psion Workabout MX

The Workabout was a revelation when it was introduced in 1995.  Easy to use, tough and lightweight it proved to be an immediate success.

The Workabout MX, which replaced it built on this initial success with the options of an integrated barcode scanner, more memory and TCP/IP capability.

In June 2006 Psion Teklogix have announced that the Workabout MX will no longer be available in the European union (including the UK) this is because of the RoHS legislation

Beacon Link will continue to supply accessories, service part and reconditioned terminals.
