Rycote has been manufacturing microphone windshield systems for more than 30 years, and is recognized as the industry standard in professional audio wind-shielding and shock-mounting systems.
Recently honoured by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with a Technical Achievement Award for their Modular System, Rycote continues to design develop and manufacture all of their products in Stroud, England.

Stock Management and Barcoding Integration to Sage

In 2005 Rycote realised that they wanted to track and manage stock
moving through the company using an electronic system. Several
options were considered, and it was decided to use Stock + from
Beacon Link Limited.

Integrating closely with Rycote’s Sage Line 50 and Manufacturing
software, Stock + enabled staff at Rycote to handle all stock
movements at the point of contact electronically using a wirelessly connected mobile terminal. Stock-take lists are created and assigned to staff.

Paperwork Eliminated, Errors greatly reduced

By implementing Stock +, Rycote have seen a dramatic increase in the speed at which they are able to handle despatch and delivery. Confidence in the stock levels within Sage has soared and staff have taken to the rugged mobile terminal with ease.
