Goods-In handling with Purchase Order Processing (POP)

For the Warehouse Manager, effective management of Goods In is a key enabler to a well-managed warehouse.

  • Scan-in new stock received
  • Increment Sage stock levels in real-time
  • Update each POP Order status
  • Scan put-away locations
  • Received stock is immediately available for picking

Stock that you have purchased that already is already barcoded by the manufacturer can be quickly scanned and verified against the originating Purchase Order. Shortages (and over-supplies) can be immediatly recorded within Sage, and damaged or unwanted stock quarantined.

Applying barcode labels

If your stock received doesn't have barcode labels, then you can still book it in, and the system can also automatically print off the right labels to be affixed. The system works with a wide range of industry standard label printers.

Keeping track of Traceable Items

At the booking-in stage, you can choose to also capture Serial Numbers and Batch/Lot numbers to initate a history of each item of stock which will be updated when the stock is sold on.
