Tracking Serial Numbers with Stock+
An optional "Serial Numbering" module is available as an add-in for Sage Line 50.
This creates a full history linked to Sage, which tracks every item purchased and sold through POP (Purchase Order Processing) and SOP (Sales Order Processing), and through customer returns and warranty claims.
Designed for Sage Line 50
Serial numbers can be captured to trace the source and destination of each distinct item of stock - when and where it was purchased, and when and to whom it was sold. This information provides businesses with an essential means of tracing each item's history when handling a repair or after-sales enquiry.
Barcode Scanning
Serial numbers are quickly and easily captured at the same time as booking-in orders originating from external purchase or internal manufacture. Serial numbers printed as barcode labels are scanned using the barcode scanner for speed and accuracy.
- Scan S/N's in when receiving purchase orders (POP)
- Scan S/N's out when despatching sales orders (SOP)
- Print S/N's on Delivery Notes
- Print barcode labels
- Enable on a product-by-product basis
Print your own S/N labels
Optionally print labels with both product and serial number information. Works with a wide range of industry standard printers.
System generated S/N's
For manufacturers, the system can be set to automatically generate new serial numbers for finished goods. You have the ability to specify a format and sequence for the allocation of new serial numbers.
Fast, historical search
A fast search facility exists to recall the history of any distinct item of stock, showing the original purchase order number, supplier, date received, sales order number, customer and date of despatch. At the time of goods despatch the delivery note can be printed listing serial numbers for total traceability on the paperwork.
