What are the requirements for running STOCK+ in a business?

Like any piece of software or equipment there are minimum requirements to be me when looking at implementing a STOCK+ system, not least of which that you are running Sage 50.  However in most cases these requirements will already be met, and we are able to assist or offer advice where they are not.  Full details of STOCK+ minimum requirements can be found on this site.

How many users will the software support?

The software will support five simultaneoususers with the Core Server running on Windows XP Professional, Vista Business or Windows 7 Business and up to one hundred where it is installed to Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008.

Will I need a Sage licence for each user of Stock+?

No, not at all. The Core Server uses a special third party integration licence, clients do not log-on directly to Sage and therefore do not need Sage licences at all.

Will my users be able to access sensitive financial or payroll information?

No, users only get given the information they need to use the system. No financial information is available through the system at all.

Do I need a licence for each user in my company?

STOCK+ is licenced aganst your Sage company, this means that individual users do not need their own licences.

Is the system robust?

Absolutely. No data is stored on the client devices, and any information comes from, and is stored in a highly secure SQL database. A stolen or broken terminal causes no data loss at all.

Can I add features at a later date?

Yes, our remote support means that we are able to add additional features to your system as you need them.
